Feeling like life is too much to handle?

Feeling anxious, stressed, or overwhelmed? Irritable, insecure, stuck in negative patterns? Not the friend, employee, parent, or son or daughter you want to be?"I can’t keep doing this."

If that is how you feel, welcome! You’re in good company. I hear that so often when people first come in for therapy. Between life’s demands and navigating what can feel like an internal mess of thoughts and feelings, we all need help.

It is ok to not be ok. Life is hard and the reality is no one taught us how to handle it all—both the external stressors and the internal mess of our thoughts and emotions. Of course you feel all tangled up! I want you to know that there is hope.

As we walk together, you can unwind the negative cycles you’re stuck in, learn to better navigate the difficult seasons of life, and become the person you want to be. I can’t promise that the change will be easy, but it will be so worth it.

Maureen Zach, LMFT

Hello! I am so excited that you are taking the brave step to care for yourself. Therapy is a place where you can be seen, safe, soothed, and secure. My goal is for you to find peace in the stress, gain clarity as you learn to understand yourself and process your emotions, enjoy your life and relationships, and feel hopeful to better navigate the various seasons of life.

About Me

Learn more about my background, experience, and approach to therapy.

I have been providing therapy to adults, teenagers, children, couples, and families for over five years in both English and Spanish. I have experience working in a variety of settings, from private practice to community mental health. I am well versed in working with people struggling with anxiety, panic attacks, depression, trauma, eating disorders, addictive behaviors, life transitions, and challenges in relationships and parenting.

I hold a Masters of Science in Marriage and Family Therapy from Edgewood College. My therapeutic approach draws from general systems theory, Internal Family Systems, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Attachment Theory, and interpersonal neurobiology.

I’ve always known I wanted to help people. While working at a community center in Bolivia, I saw that resources alone could not heal the brokenness of life and relationships, so I’ve dedicated myself to that inner healing that allows for outward transformation.
